Fa un any vaig descobrir les joies d’aquesta noia a l’exposició que vam muntar a “La Basílica” en motiu del concurs Enjoia’t. Em van agradar molt les peces d’aquesta joiera de Suècia, les trobo fantàstiques!!
One year ago I discovered this Sweden jeweler at “La Basílica” exhibition of the Enjoia’t awards. I felt in love with her jewellery, I feel her works stunning!
La Rebecka és nascuda a Suècia i les seves joies estan inspirades en les tradicions del seu país, encara que actualment viu i treballa a Brooklyn. La naturalesa i les històries de fades són la seva font d’inspiració i és que només ens cal mirar amb quina delicadesa transforma el metall en aquestes fantàstiques joies.
The jewellery of Sara Borgegård celebrates the esthetics of machinery and constructions.
Galleri Hnoss and Konstepidemin are proud to present the jewellery artist Sara Borgegård.
In 2007 Sara Borgegård got her Master’s degree in metal design at Konstfack in Stockholm. At that time she already had many international exhibits to put into her CV and today she can add even some more.
Borgegård is inspired by artificial environments. Structures that we today take for granted and view as completely natural, but that in fact are constructed and arranged by man.
Borgegård’s jewellery contain influences of buildings and machinery. But it is not only the expression that reminds us of industrial structures. Also most of the materials, such as industrial iron sheets and scrap wood allude to a manufacturing process and an expression that historically can be seen as opposites to traditional jewellery.
In spite of this, the decorative character of the pieces is emphasized by the use of colours. Borgegård covers the straight constructions with glaring colours, making these shapes into her own visionary architecture.

“Formargruppen is anartists Cooperation with a shop and a Gallery in downtown Malmö. The 20 members are all professional craftsartists in different materials. All the artists are local, and most of them can be visited in their studios as well as in the shop. The gallery every month show a new exhibition, where the audience can mett new, often experimental, coceptual an crossover expressions within the contemporary crafts scene.”
Aquesta gent m’han fet arribar la informació d’aquesta exposició que s’inaugura el 23 de Febrer. Us rercomano que visiteu la web i la galeria, hi podeu trobar textils, vidre, ceràmica, fusta i joieria.
Aquesta joiera de Göteborg (Suècia) té una trajectòria i un currículum impressionants!! A la seva web hi podreu trobar unes quantes peces més!!
Aquesta noia just s’acaba de graduar a l’Escola Alchimia de Florència que ja té un currículum de déu n’hi do!! Té el seu taller a Gothenburg (Suècia) i no em faria pas res d’anar-lo a visitar, les seves peces són una passada!!!
